Hi fellow nail polish lovers!! I hope you're having a great Wednesday!
I was recently contacted by Nail Polish Canada regarding doing a review of the Deborah Lippmann polish remover finger mitt called Stripper to Go. This is an individually packed disposable mitt that contains nail polish remover. It's supposed to be great for using when on the go or when travelling.
According to the description on Nail Polish Canada's website, one mitt is enough to remove all the polish on every single finger.
When I first tried the mitt, I had a jelly sandwich manicure, which includes lots of glitter. I thought it would be interesting to try this because we all know how difficult glitter removal is.

Over the first nail |
While the mitt is over the nail, you need to rub the polish off on the nail with your other hand.

After the first few nails. I had to do a lot of work because of the glitter. |
 |
I made it to my third nail before giving up. It was just too much work with the glitter. |
For my second attempt with the Stripper to Go mitt, I had only nail polish on my nails.

Nail polish removed on all 10 fingers with one mitt. |
Stripper To Go did a really good job of removing the polish. The mitt was very saturated with nail polish remover (which smells like lavender and is a bearable smell), so it tends to run down your fingers a bit. I used my fingers to rub off the polish and it came off quickly. By the time I got to my last two fingers, it was a bit more difficult to remove the polish because there wasn't as much remover left and a lot of polish was inside the mitt.
I think this is great for traveling. Instead of having to walk with lots of cotton balls and a bottle of remover, you can have these thin packets that don't take up much space.
Stripper To Go can be purchased online at Nail Polish Canada
here. The cost is $12 and each box contains 6 mitts. The price is a bit steep for me, considering you can get a bottle of polish remover for approximately $1.50 and a large bag of cotton balls for the same amount. I think it's definitely worth having these around if you plan to change your polish while traveling though.
Stripper To Go contains
no toluene, DBP or added formaldehyde.
What do you guys think of Stripper To Go? Is it something you would purchase?
