Hi everyone!! I hope you all had a great weekend! Mine isn't over yet because I have today off. I'm very happy about that.
Today, I have a Mark polish to share with you. For those of you who may be unaware, Mark is a brand sold by Avon. Mark polishes are minis that typically come in pairs. Meltdown came with Sure Fire, which I reviewed
here. These two were released for the holiday season.
Meltdown is a metallic polish. I have no idea how to describe the color of this polish. You guys can decide. I used OPI Natural Nail Base Coat, two coats of Meltdown, and Seche Vite Fast Dry Top Coat.

The formula for this polish was pretty good. As you can see, there were visible brush strokes when I applied it.
I'm not a fan of this polish at all. In some lighting I was able to tolerate it, but otherwise, I couldn't wait to get it off. I'm sure you can relate to feeling this way about a polish. I much prefer Sure Fire that came with it. So this was my first and last time wearing this polish.
What do you guys think of Meltdown? Have you purchased any Mark polishes?
I think this is very pretty, but it is a shame about the brushstrokes. I'm glad that you at least like Sure Fire, so that the purchase wasn't a total bust. :)

DeleteWow that is a really odd color, it's like a light flesh colored metallic... how odd! I agree with you though, Sure Fire was the better one. ^_^

DeleteLooks pretty :) Haven't tried the Mark brand...I wonder if it's pretty similar to the Avon polishes..? This kind of reminds me of the Avon Mirror Shine polishes.

DeleteI've never heard of this brand before. I don't mind that much about brush strokes but I'm very picky with this type of finish. This polish looks so different depending on the light. I'm not sure how I would feel about it but on you it looks good.
