Hi everyone!! Happy Friday! I hope you have a great weekend in store. It's going to be a pretty busy one for me, but I'm just happy the end of the weekis here.
Today I have a holographic polish to share with you. I received Digital Dawn from
Bridget in a recent swap we did. Digital Dawn is a dusty rose holo from China Glaze's Tronica collection. Its formula is excellent and applies like a dream. It was fully opaque in one coat and dried very quickly.
In the swatches below, I used one coat of Digital Dawn with no base or top coat.

It looked a bit dull to me, so I decided to add a top coat to see if it made a difference. I used Beauty Secrets Top Coat.

I think the top coat dulled the holo effect a bit, but it was still pretty.
What do you guys think of Digital Dawn?

DeleteI've never seen a holo this color! I like that the color is antique but the holo makes it very modern. Very cool!

DeleteThis is beautiful! I know a lot of people were disappointed in this collection because they were expecting full-on holos but I love the scattered effect of these polishes =)

DeleteWhat a pretty holo! I usually don't have a top coat over holos because I loose half of the holo effect on most brands...

DeleteSwoon! I picked up two of the polishes from this collection (it was before I really got into polish) and am kicking myself ever since for not picking up more. This one is just so lovely. I love holos in unexpected colors.
