I have a Nerd Lacquer polish to share today! Now I know there has been much controversy and hearbreak over this brand. The store has been closed for some time and many are wondering whether it will reopen. I prefer to not get involved with the drama. I just hope that all is well with Amanda and we will see more beauties from her soon.
So why am I sharing a polish that isn't currently available you ask. Because I took these pics a long time ago and forgot to share it then. I hope you'll still appreciate the post.
Carbon Allotrope is a sheer jelly base with medium silver hex glitter, small silver glitter, and silver and white microglitter. The base has a bit of a cream tint to it. I think it's due to the white microglitter. This is definitely a layering polish, but here you'll see it on its own. I used three coats of Carbon Allotrope with no base or top coat.

This is a really unique glitter polish and I like it a lot. I'm looking forward to layering it and trying different combos.
What do you guys think of Carbon Allotrope?
This is so pretty! I was hoping to get some of her polishes, and I'm still hoping...
ReplyDeleteI hope you can too Ina!
DeleteLooks very pretty I like the combination
ReplyDeleteThanks Iris!
DeleteI love the way it layers up--nice and glimmery without looking caked on! Hoping we see more Nerd Lacquer soon. :)
ReplyDeleteI hope to see more too!
DeleteI love this! Never had a chance to try a Nerd Lacquer, but I hope I still get a chance to, and that everything is OK with Amanda!
ReplyDeleteI hope everything is okay too.
DeleteThat's really pretty! I don't have any Nerd Lacquers but maybe that will change if the shop ever comes back.
ReplyDeleteI hope so hon
DeletePretty! I would love to see it layered :-)
ReplyDeleteHopefully I'll get a chance to do it soon. So many polishes, so little time.
DeletePretty! I too hope she is well. I have several polishes from her and haven't used them yet :)
ReplyDeleteThis reminds me of a more packed version of the glitter OPI from the ballet collection (Pirouette something?). This would be so gorgeous over a pastel pink!
ReplyDeleteSuch a nice glitter! I think it would look good over anything. But I do like it alone as well. Very girly!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty glitter!
ReplyDeleteBet it is gorg layered but it doesn't look bad like this neither!
ReplyDeleteThis is really lovely. I can't wait to see it layered :D
ReplyDeleteThis is stunning!! I love it on you! So sad we haven't heard from Amanda! I have a few to search too, may put in one post as a tribute and plea she returns? Anyway! LOVE this!!! ;-)
