This week's twinsie challenge entails us getting "marching orders" from another twinsie. The marching orders could be anything, nail art, based on a theme, anything. It's even more fun because none of the other twinsies know what we each person will be doing.
I was given my marching orders by Amanda. Here's what they were:
Your mani must include the following polishes:
1. A mainstream brand (OPI, Essie, ChG, etc.)
2. A local brand (Mattese Elite, Brucci, Duri, etc.)
3. An indie
To create a mani that's inspired by your favorite movie/television awards ceremony dress (Oscars, Golden Globes, Emmys, etc.)
My first reaction: Whoa!!! Amanda really took advantage with this one, lol.
After understanding all of my orders, I first decided on a dress.

The three polishes I chose were Brucci Sophie's Sweet Pink (local), White Owl Lacquers Pumpkin Pasties (indie), and OPI Pirouette My Whistle (mainstream).
Sophie's Sweet Pink was one of the closest colors I had to the dress. It's a gorgeous pink with golden shimmer that gives it a salmon color. I decided to put it on four of my nails, then on my pinky I added Pumpkin Pasties as my accent. I chose Pumpkin Pasties because it's in the color family and has brown glitters in it, which reminds me of the bag Jessica is holding. I know it's a stretch, but that was my thought process, lol.

I'm definitely looking forward to what everyone was challenged to do this week. I'm sure it will be fun!
