China Glaze - Flirty Tankini & Angel Wings

Hi everyone!!

This Twinsie Tuesday, I'm supposed to share a polish that my sixteen year old self would wear.  As a teenager, I went to the nail salon every other week and had acrylics.  I was always getting the latest designs on my nails.

For this challenge, I decided to go with a neon (because that just makes me think of a teenager) and a gold accent nail.  I used two China Glaze polishes, Flirty Tankini (a neon orange) and Angel Wings.

Artificial Light
Flirty Tankini is a bit thick, so it requires care when applying.  It dries to slightly matte finish and requires three coats for full opacity.  It also doesn't dry very quickly.  Here I used three coats with no base or top coat. I added Angel Wings as an accent nail, a gold and holographic microglitter in a clear base.  It dries to a gritty finish.

I decided to add top coat to this mani because I love a glossy finish.

I really like these two together.  It's really bright and fun!  Something I would only wear on the weekend or on vacation.  Aaah, the life of a working adult!

Don't forget to check out my twinsies to see what they would have worn at 16!  This should be interesting ;0).
