Hi fellow nail polish lovers!! Happy Monday!
For Monday Blues this week, I wanted to mix it up and use one of my favorite color combos, blue and pink.
I used
Barry M Turquoise and
Sally Hansen Fuchsia Power to create interlocking dots. Below is a brief tutorial of how I created the look.
Start with your base colors |
Add your second color diagonally across the nail. In this case I freehanded the second color, but you can also use tape to get nice neat lines. |
Add the same color dots as your base color along the line. Try to keep the dots closer to the side of the second color. |
Sorry for this blurry pic :(. Next, add the dots using the second color on the other side of the diagonal line. |
Add the remaining dots. |
Finish off with top coat. |

I love, love, love blue and pink together and interlocking dots is such a simple, yet cute look. Looking at this mani definitely takes my Monday Blues away.
What do you guys think of this mani? Have you tried interlocking dots before?
I hope you this tutorial was helpful.
