Barielle Spring 2014 Velvets Collection

Today, I have swatches from Barielle's Spring 2014 Velvets collection to share with you!  The collection is described as soft, romantic and dreamy colors that are warm yet rich, and totally feminine.

Cream 'N Sugar

Cream N Sugar is a very sheer jelly.  Here I used three coats and there wasn't much coverage.  It's perfect for a jelly sandwich or if you just want a natural look on your nails.

Uptown Girl

Uptown Girl is a beige creme that has a pretty good formula.  The first coat was streaky, but it leveled out nicely with the second coat.

My Tan Blazer

I love the name My Tan Blazer.  This is a tan creme with a really good formula.  It applies well and is opaque in two coats.

My Week Away

My Week Away is definitely my favorite of this collection.  It's such a pretty, soft pink and there is a subtle shimmer in it.  It applies well and is opaque in two coats.

Sexy Mood

Sexy Mood is a really lovely shade.  It's a creme finish and applies like butter.  It was opaque in two easy coats.

A Little Exotic

A Little Exotic also has a really great formula.  It is opaque in two easy coats.  I really like this color.

I think this collection is really lovely.  To be honest, when I first saw them in the bottles, I wasn't impressed.  However, when I wore them I really fell in love.  Especially with My Week Away.  This collection is great for those of you looking for simple spring colors that aren't too bright.
