Today I wanted to share with you an Ombre mani that I tried out recently. An Ombre mani is a manicure where the colors fade across the five nails from dark to light. I was inspired to do this by four very talented people I follow on twitter: Tera (http://nailsinnippon.blogspot.com/), Carolina (http://www.coloresdecarol.com/), Marta (http://www.chitchatnails.com/), and Marketta (http://pinkpolishaddict.blogspot.com/). They were a part of a nail challenge that included this mani. I decided to try it, not only because I loved their results, but also because I thought it was something that I could actually accomplish. As I've mentioned before, I'm not very good with nail art.
For this mani, I used Sinful Colors' Savage and Sinful Colors Snow Me White, starting with only Savage on the pinky and adding Snow Me White more and more as I continued with the other nails.

I used Sally Hansen Double Duty for a base coat, two coats of polish, Kleancolor Sparkle Emerald, and Seche Vite fast dry top coat. Of course, I added glitter to this mani ;0). |

I wish the difference wasn't as subtle between the ring and middle finger, but it works ;0) |

I really like the way this turned out. It took some time to get the colors just right, but I was very happy with the result.
Here's another Ombre mani I liked:
