Hi fellow nail polish lovers!! It's Friday, whew! I'm so ready to start the weekend.
In the next few days, I'll be sharing my first A-England's with you all. I purchased these polishes during their after-Christmas sale. They are all from the Mythicals collection, which I know have been shown around the blogger world for some time, but I'd still like to share mine with you all.
Today, I have swatches of Holy Grail. I'll be honest, I had no intention of purchasing this polish initially, because it's not the typical color I go for. However, the lovely Esther from
Fab Fingertips strongly encouraged me on twitter to give Holy Grail a try because she thought it would go well with my skin tone. So I decided to give it a try. I am so happy that I did because I love the way it looks on me.
Holy Grail is a beautiful gold shimmer polish with a metallic finish. It has a great formula and applied smoothly and evenly. Two coats were required to be fully opaque. In the swatches below, I used no base or top coat.

DeleteUntil I saw this swatch I never realized how similar this looks to China Glaze Champagne Bubbles. Wow, I don't know why that dupery shocked me.

DeleteI just got my first few A England polishes myself. Didn't pick this one as anything that leans too warm looks absolutely terrible on me. But you wear this warm gold so well, Marisa! :)
