Hi everyone!! Happy Saturday! I plan to get some extra sleep today and then I have plans with hubby and another couple. Should be fun.
Today I'm sharing the first Essie polish I ever purchased. Some time last spring, I was at a meeting at work. Instead of paying attention to what was going on, I was admiring a woman's polish (this happens to me often, heehee). She had a skin tone similar to mine and I just loved how the polished popped on her. So of course, I had to find out what it was. She couldn't remember the name of the polish (shame on her), but she told me it was Essie and I went on the hunt for it. I spotted it at Target a few days later and it was mine ;0). Turns out the name was Meet Me At Sunset, such a cute name.
Meet Me At Sunset is a vibrant deep orange, as described by Essie. It was a part of Essie's Braziliant collection released in the summer of 2011. It has a crelly finish and applies smoothly and evenly. There was still a bit of VNL after 2 coats though.
I love that this color commands attention, but it's not a neon. For these pictures, I used OPI Natural Nail Base Coat, 2 coats of Meet Me At Sunset, and Seche Vite Fast Dry Top Coat.

I love, love, love this polish!! Looking at the pictures, it reminds me of
Avon Tangtastic which I wore a few weeks back. This is definitely a deeper orange though.
