Hi everyone!! Happy Pink Wednesday!
Today, I have a Sally Hansen polish from their Hard As Nails line. On The Rocks is difficult to describe. It's a beautiful sheer pink polish with silver microshimmer that dries to a metallic finish (sort of). Because it is really sheer, I had to use 4 coats. Even then, I still had VNL. For the pictures below, I used OPI Natural Nail Base Coat, 4 coats of On The Rocks, and Seche Vite Fast Dry Top Coat.

I really like the color of this polish. The formula was also good. It applied smoothly and evenly. The only gripe I have is the amount of coats required. I don't think it would ever reach full opacity.
I purchased this polish for $1.99 at Rite Aid some time last year. I've noticed displays with lots of colors recently at drug stores, so I believe there are many colors to choose from right now.
What do you guys think of On The Rocks? Do you have any polishes from the Hard As Nails line?

DeleteI love this colour and it really suits you, I have a couple of the hard as nails extreme wear but I haven't worn them yet, will try them all very soon!

DeleteI wonder if you couldn't ramp up the opacity a bit by finding a matching mineral shadow sample and mixing the two. For $1.99 and a buck or less for a sample, such a pretty color might be worth a shot.
