Hi everyone!! Happy Pink Wednesday!!
For this Pink Wednesday, I decided to give Sinful Colors Pink Forever a try. I've had this polish for a while now, but never wore it. I guess you could describe it as a bubblegum pink creme. It was brighter than I expected it to be, but very pretty. I got several compliments when I wore it.
My gripe with this polish was the formula. It was so thick and goopy, which made application difficult. The first coat was streaky, but it was opaque by the second coat. Honestly, only because I was tired when I put it on, did I not remove it. I plan to try some thinner to see if it makes a difference in the future. I just didn't have the time to do so before this post.
In these pictures, I used OPI Natural Nail Base Coat, 2 coats of Pink Forever, and Seche Vite Fast Dry Top Coat.

Natural Light This is what happens at the base of your nail when you use thick, goopy polish in poor lighting :( |

What do you guys think of Pink Forever? Do you have this color?
That's a bright pink, but it looks so lovely on you! It's a shame about the consistency :( I hope thinner works!!
ReplyDeleteThanks Saira!! I sure hope it works too.
DeleteI understand your complaint about the formula: the original Sinfuls were exactly as you'd expect a $2 polish to be. However, I've happily noticed a vast improvement in the past two years as they've expanded their collection. Pink Forever, I believe, is an original (I gifted mine away awhile ago so I'm not sure) so maybe that explains the disappointing formula.
ReplyDeleteThat could explain it. I'm hoping that with the thinner, I'll be happy with it because I really like the color. Fingers crossed.
DeleteThe color is Beautiful!! BUT thick and goopy nail polish tends to live a short life in my world... chipping and picked off. But I'd rock it until that happened..
