The theme today is Layered Polish, which I'm very happy about because I love to layer polishes. I decided to use two coats of NYC Pier 17 as my base, one of my favorite electric blues. I then layered one coat of Essie Pure Pearlfection, a gorgeous shimmer top coat. For my base I used OPI Natural Nail Base Coat and I topped it off with Seche Vite Fast Dry top coat.
I absolutely love this combination. This mani took on a totally different look than I expected. There was a purple and blue shimmer over the polish that I really loved. I couldn't stop looking at it.
Take a look for yourself:

Artificial Light. The yellow lighting gave this a horrible tint, but you can really see the purple and blue in this one. |

ReplyDeleteThis blue is beautiful on you. The layering adds a soft touch and is very complimentary to the blue. I don't own any NYC polishes, but I think I may have to pick this one up!
