China Glaze - Gothic Lolita

Hi fellow nail polish lovers!!  I hope you had a great weekend!!

I have a polish today that many of you have probably seen a lot of recently.  Gothic Lolita is a part of China Glaze's recently released Electro Pop collection.  From the moment swatches started popping up, I knew I had to get this one. 

Gothic Lolita is a violet creme with lots of shimmer.  It was difficult to capture the shimmer on camera, but believe me it's there.  The formula was excellent!  It was slightly on the thick side, but it was not a problem to apply at all.  It was also opaque in one coat and dried quickly and to a shine.

In the pictures below, I used two coats of Gothic Lolita with no base or top coat.

This is such a beautiful purple!!  I recommend clicking on the photos to see the shimmer better.

    This was one of my 2 fav colors out of the Electropop collection. I came to that collection really late thinking I had seen the colors before over and over...but fact was, I did not have many of these shades in my collection because my taste in what I would wear changed major this past year.
