Today, I'm sharing an OPI that was on my wish list for some time. My Address is "Hollywood" is a pretty pinkish/coral (salmon?) polish with gold shimmer from OPI's 2011 Touring America Collection. I'm so in love with this color!
The formula of the polish was a bit tough to work with. It was still streaky even after three coats, I had to add a fourth coat to my ring and index fingers to try and even them out. On the plus side, the polish does dry fairly quickly.
In the pics below, I used no base or top coat.

Sunlight Please excuse the glitter on my hands. It was just everywhere from my swatchfest. |
I love this color of this polish. The shimmer just makes it glow. What I don't like is the amount of work I had to do to get adequate coverage. I still plan to use it again. It's so pretty.
What do you think of My Address is "Hollywood"? Your type of polish?
This is beautiful, I just wish the color was slightly more saturated to make it pop. Maybe layer it over a WnW coral creme first?
ReplyDeleteMore saturation would definitely make it pop. Still love it though.
DeleteThis is definitely my type of polish!! Absolutely gorgeous on you! :D

ReplyDeleteThanks Deborah!!
DeleteThis looks so pretty on you! Too bad the formula was a bit rough. My sister fell in love with this shade and paid 16.99 for it at a salon!!!!! Yes! I on the other hand have its dupe: Essie "your hut or mine"... Perhaps you'd like the Essie formula better? I did a comparison of the two on my blog a while back
ReplyDeleteI actually have Your Hut or Mine as well. I'll have to try it soon and see if I prefer it. Thanks for the suggestion. Oh, and $16.99?? That's crazy talk!
DeleteThis looks really amazing on you Marisa! So sorry for the formula:(
