Twinsie Tuesday - Tape Mani

Hi everyone!!  It's Twinsie Tuesday ;0).

Today, we're supposed to share tape manis, which is simply using tape to create a design on your nails.  I've done several tape manis before and it's always hit or miss for me.  There are times when the polish bleeds into the tape or times when I don't wait long enough for the polish to dry and the tape lifts my base polish.  Very frustrating!!! However, whenever I'm successful, I love the outcome.  It's an easy way to do nail art, especially if you're not gifted with artistic skills like me :p.

For this mani, I was already wearing OPI DS Reserve, which I shared with you here and I decided to use Sonia Kashuk Blank Slate as the second color.  I love the combination of pink and gray together.  Here's the design I came up with:

I really like how this mani came out.  It's a really cool design and I love the contrast of the holo and creme finishes.  I just need to be careful around the cuticle in the future.  I was so focused on trying to make sure I covered DS Reserve completely that it bled into the cuticle.  I then had to work to cleanup, which was a bit difficult.  I was still happy with the result though.
