Pink Three Ways

Hi everyone!!  Happy Pink Wednesday!  Like my title?  I didn't know how else to describe what I'm sharing today, so that was the best I came up with.



I've seen several manis like this on Pinterest and Instagram (shout out to @lafemmelulu) where three polishes are used, one being a holo.  So I wanted to try something similar with pink.  I actually did this mani when I was going to the Revlon Run/Walk for Breast Cancer in Central Park.

Here are the polishes I used:

OPI Pink Friday, DS Reserve, and Sally Hansen Fuschia Power
I used Essie All in One Base, then applied two coats of Pink Friday.  I then added a coat of DS Reserve diagonally across the nail (freehand).  After a few minutes, I did the same with Fuschia Power.  I finished it off with a coat of Seche Vite Fast Dry Top Coat.  You've seen the result already, but here are a few more pics:

I was really happy with the way this mani turned out.  At first, I wasn't sure if the colors would work well together, but I'm happy they did.

Have you tried anything like this?  What do you think?  Is there a name for this mani that I don't know about?
