Tape Manicure

Hi fellow nail polish lovers!!  Happy Friday!!!!!!  Can you tell I'm excited the weekend is here? LOL!  I hope you guys are doing well!

I have a tape mani that I did a while ago inspired by a pic Lacqueredlover posted on Instagram.  I love the beautiful manis I see there, such inspiration!



I thought this was so cute!! It has two of my favorite polish colors.  So I decided to try something very similar.

I used OPI DS Reflection, NYC Prospect Park Pink, and A-England Excalibur
Here is the result:

I first applied OPI DS Reflection. I then taped the bottom of my nail diagonally and painted my nails with a second color, alternating each nail. I waited a few hours before taping it off again in the other direction and painting the third color because I wanted to make sure it was completely dry.

When applying the second color on my middle finger, Excalibur bled into the tape, so I painted the whole nail with it and decided to add DS Reflection at the tip.

I topped everything off with a coat of Seche Vite Fast Dry Top Coat.

I was really happy with the way this mani turned out.  It was something really different for me, but I really like the look.

      Thanks so much Marta!! So glad you like it! I've had issues with bleeding as well. I think it depends on the formula of the polish, as well as how firmly the tape is placed.
