Hi everyone!!
Today, I have a not so pink polish for Pink Wednesday. A couple weeks ago, I went walking around in Manhattan after a meeting, something I don't get to do very often. As I usually do, I was on the prowl for any new nail polish spots. I happened upon a store that sold lots of NYX polishes and was super excited!! So I pulled out my wish list and was able to grab a few polishes I've wanted for some time.
Forever Young is a dusty rose jelly with lots of gold flakies. It takes three coats to be opaque and even then, there is the slightest bit of VNL, but it's really, really pretty! Here I used Nail Life Revitalizer, three coats of Forever Young, and Seche Vite Fast Dry Top Coat.

This is such a unique and pretty polish. I've never seen anything like it. I thought it would be gritty because of all the flakies in it, but it dried to a smooth finish.
Update: I got many inquiries regarding where NYX polishes can be found in the city. I got this at Fragrance & Beauty Outlet at 301 Madison Avenue between 41st and 42nd streets.
What do you guys think of Forever Young? Do you have any NYX polishes in your stash? |
