Avon - Mambo Melon

Hi everyone!!  Back to work today after my three day weekend, sigh!!

On to happier subjects... Nail polish!!  Today I have an Avon Speed Dry polish, Mambo Melon.  This is a really bright pink/orange shimmer, definitely what you would think of for winter.  But I wear what ever calls my name ;0). 

Mambo Melon's formula was pretty good.  It went on smoothly, but some balding did occur, so I had to be careful with that.  It was also a bit thin and there was a bit of VNL after two coats.  In the pics below, I used OPI Natural Nail Base Coat, 2 coats of Mambo Melon, and Seche Vite Fast Dry Top Coat.

I really could have done a better job of the clean up. *Shaking finger at myself*  Sorry :(

    This is a very fun color and looks great with you skin tone! I haven't tried Avon polishes yet, as I wasn't sure about the formula and the colors always seem to change in every catalog. Maybe I'm gonna try one soon.
