Hi fellow nail polish lovers!! Happy Pink Wednesday!! Can I just say how much MLK day messed me up? All day yesterday, I thought it was Monday, today feels like Tuesday, so my schedule is so off!! On the bright side, Friday is very near ;0).
Anyhoo, this Pink Wednesday, I'm sharing Believe It, Do It from Nicole by OPI. It was the first NOPI polish I ever purchased almost a year ago at Target. When I saw it on the shelf, I just had to have it because it was such a gorgeous pink. I've used it so many times, my bottle is now half empty. Needless to say, this is one of my favorite polishes.
Believe It, Do It is a fuschia/pink shimmer. Unfortunately, the shimmer isn't seen very much on the nail. The formula is very thin, but it goes on so smoothly and evenly. Because it's thin, it requires 3 coats to prevent a lot of VNL. This polish dries pretty quickly, which I'm sure we would all appreciate ;0).
In these photos I used OPI Natural Nail Base Coat, 3 coats of Believe It, Do It, and Seche Vite Fast Dry Top Coat.

Artificial Light. Please excuse the weird hand positions in this and the next photo. I was struggling with this bottle. |

After applying the polish and staring at it for a little while, thinking how pretty it is, I thought to myself, this looks to simple. It needed something else. Have you ever had that moment? Anyway, I decided to layer it with Shine of the Times. While, I really liked the result, I didn't expect it to change the look of the polish so much. Here are the pics:
