The day after Christmas, the hubby and I went shopping at Jersey Gardens. It's a great indoor mall with lots of outlets and not too far away from me. I got some great polishes there.

There was actually a sale on OPI polishes at a beauty supply store called Alana's, buy one, get one half off. I was like a kid in a candy store, lol!! I think it's the first time my husband saw me in action.
Now, I know many of you have seen swatches of Excuse Moi already, but I thought I'd still share it. I was really excited to get this one because it was so glitterific (yes, I made that word up, lol).
Excuse Moi is a red jelly base with silver circular glitter, and pink, red, and silver smaller glitter. Application of this polish was easy. It was a bit sheer, but it turned out to be opaque in 2 coats (there are 3 coats on the ring finger just to show what it would look like). It did dry a bit gritty though, so you would definitely need top coat to have a smooth finish.

DeleteI was looking at this and thinking... I own this polish, but why is it suddenly Excuse Moi? Lol... Then I remembered that I once discovered that Excuse Moi is the same as "A Sparkle Yule Love" - which I own.
ReplyDeleteIt's such a gorgeous color! I love it.. and yes dear, it is a top coat sucker... the glitters drink up the top coat like no man's business. lol... Removal process is also really fun.. lol..* sarcasm*

DeleteVery nice haul! I remember seeing this one at Sephora along with the other glitters and they were all so sparkly. I really wanted to take all of them home, but at 15 $ apiece it was quite impossible. It looks great on you!
