Hi everyone!! Well, I made through a crazy Monday at work. I'm hoping today will be a lot calmer. I hope you guys are doing well ;0).
I have another polish from the Nicki Minaj collection to share with you today, Save Me. Save Me is a clear base with blue and gold bar glitter and silver microglitter. This is my first bar glitter and I really like it. The application was easy. The only thing I have to be careful with is making sure the bar glitter doesn't hang over the edge of the nail.
I first swatched 3 coats of Save Me on its own:

So, what do you think? Are you into bar glitter? How do you feel about Fly?
As the notorious glitterphobic of the blogging world, I cannot for the life of me get behind bar glitter. It just looks like hair on nails. I don't get it.

DeleteIt's really sparkly! I'm not too keen on bar glitter though. Maybe the tendency to stick over the nail edge is a contributing factor :p Looks pretty over Fly, which I like a lot!

ReplyDeleteI'm not really sure I like bar glitter. I think it really depends on the color and what it's layered over. I would be curious to try it though. Looks great on you!

DeleteI usually don't like bar glitter but when I was buying Fly and saw Save Me in person, it was just too pretty to pass up! I love the combination of the two of them together!!

DeleteThe only thing about clear polish with glitter (and esp Bar Glitter) is that I end up feeling there is never ENOUGH! and over-coating my nails. :(
ReplyDeleteYes, unfortunately, some aren't very dense. This one was pretty good though. I just used one coat over Fly. On it's own, it would require several coats full coverage though.
