Hi everyone!! So today's my birthday!! I'm so excited, not only that it's my birthday, but I get to stay home and do nothing. As with every year, I requested today off to have time to myself.
I have met some awesome people in this nail polish world. Not only through blogging, but also on twitter. Last week,
Susan, one of the sweetest people I know, did a birthday post (our birthdays are about a week apart) and mentioned my birthday. Several girls who I regularly chat with became aware of this information and sent me things in the mail. How sweet are they?

I also have some others on the way. I'm so overwhelmed by the thought of these girls. I'm really glad that I've met them and so many others that I'm starting to know. We really have a great community of people.
Now, for my nails, I wracked my brain for days about what I would do for my birthday mani. I'm not great with nail art and I couldn't come up with any fun ideas. So instead, I'll just share a NOTD from this weekend. I decided to layer Essie Shine of the Times over Fingerpaints Blank Canvas Cream. I wanted a neutral look with a bang. I used OPI Natural Nail Base Coat as a base and Seche Vite Fast Dry Top Coat.

Whoo!! Those were a lot of pics, but I couldn't choose. I really liked this one a lot and didn't want to take it off.

Happy Birthday!! I didn't know it was you birthday today. I hope your day is filled with joy and a lot of presents from your loved ones! It's great that you have the day off. My birthday is on a national holiday and I couldn't imagine working or going to school on that day.
