I have another polish that I received from Amanda at Fashion Footing. I keep hearing mixed reviews about Julep polishes and personally, I think it's too pricy, so I never ordered their polish. Therefore, this was my first polish from this brand.
Charlotte is a beautiful dusty purple creme. The formula was a bit thick and also runny. It went on smoothly and evenly though. It was opaque in one coat.
In these pictures, I used one coat of Charlotte with no base or top coat.

I'm happy to have this in my stash, but I still think it's too expensive for such a small bottle. .27 fl. oz. for $14, no thanks! Even if they do have a color with my name that's really pretty, lol!
What do you guys think of this polish? Do you own any Julep polishes?

DeleteBad formula sometimes ruins the polish "experience," but I have to say this color looks ridiculous fabulous on you! You should wear more purples :)

ReplyDeleteI wouldn't pay $14 for One polish by Julep, but with the Maven program, I get about 3-4 polishes for $19.99 every month. I can also skip months if I want.
That's the only way I will get their polishes. or if they have a discount code or something. For right now though, I'm with you, Not paying $14 for one bottle.

DeleteThis is a nice color, but I think it's pretty common, like all the Julep colors. I think that for the price they should make their polishes more unique. This is nice to have though if you didn't pay the huge price for it.

DeleteI love purple polish, it's my weakness and this one is gorgeous but the price tag seems a little bit too much for it. Maybe with a promotion or something I would consider it.

ReplyDeleteI don't own any Julep polishes...mainly because of the price and how small they are. That's pretty impressive that it only took one coat for that polish though. Looks great! And the color looks great too :)
