Sonia Kashuk - Blank Slate

Hi fellow nail polish lovers!!  Happy Saturday!

Today I have a polish that was on my wish list and Amanda over at Fashion Footing surprised me with.  I had been stalking my Target for this one, but could never find it.  I love a good gray.  She sent it with Fuschia Power which I shared here. 

Blank Slate is a slate gray creme with a good formula.  The first coat is a bit streaky, but it was fully opaque and even with the second coat.

In these swatches, I used two coats of Blank Slate and no base or top coat:

As you can see, in certain lighting it looks a bit dark.  It reminds me of wet cement.  Weird comparison?  I don't know, but that's all I could think of when I looked at my nails.  I really like it though.  I don't have anything like it in my stash.  I also love how glossy it is, even without a top coat.
