Hi everyone!! Happy Friday! While this is a scheduled post, I'm sure that I'm sad that I have to end my time in Vegas today :(. I'll be heading back to the real world very soon.
Today, I have a beautiful duochrome sent to me by my awesome polish friend
Saira. Indian Ocean is one of Model's Own recent releases in their Beetlejuice collection. It's a sheer shimmer that shifts from blue to pink. It's best used as a layering polish because it took me four coats to get good coverage. It's really pretty on its own though. Here I used Essie All in One Base, 4 coats of Indian Ocean, and Seche Vite Fast Dry Top Coat.

When I did my last
ombre manicure, I decided to try Indian Ocean on each nail to see how it would look on both dark and light colors.

I prefer it over the lighter colors than the darker ones.
I also wanted to try it over a pink, so I layered it (1 coat) over Brucci
Heidi's Glow. I decided to leave the ring finger with just Heidi's Glow for contrast.

How gorgeous is this combo with the pink? If you'd like to see what I did with it next, check out the guest post I did on Refined and Polished
here.
I'm loving Indian Ocean overall. It's such a pretty and unique polish!
What do you think of Indian Ocean? Did you pick up any of the new polishes from the Beetlejuice collection?
