I recently bought a stamping kit from Sally's called Salon Express for $9.99. I've wanted to try stamping for a while, but they were always so expensive, so this was the perfect opportunity.
I've been playing around with the kit and I still have lots more practicing to do. I wanted to share what I've done so far.
First, I experimented over my purple gradient mani with Hippity Hop. I used hearts because they're my favorite of the different designs. For the stamping I used Color Club Fashion Addict.

I really liked the way this turned out, but it was a bit much with the glitter accent nail. And as you can see, the stamping could have used some work.
I then tried again when I was wearing Coral Reef and Disco Ball. First I used Excalibur over Coral Reef.

When I asked hubby what he thought, he said it looked weird with the silver/glitter accent nail. So I decided to use Coral Reef to add hearts to the accent nail.

Though the stamping wasn't completely perfect, I fell in love with this mani. Hubby liked it too ;0).
Here's a close up of the accent nail. I blurred it so you can see the holo goodness.

I'm having fun with stamping and I'm looking forward to trying many other designs. I'm just figuring out what polishes work best and still working on doing it quickly so the polish doesn't dry.
Do you stamp your nail designs? What tips do you have to share?
