I wanted to do a second post to share my Thanksgiving mani today. I hope you're all having a wonderful day with family and friends and lots of food ;0). For those outside of the US not celebrating Thanksgiving, I'm sure you'd still be able to appreciate this beauty.
I actually got this polish just yesterday in the mail and thought it would be perfect for Thanksgiving. I love the combo of the deep red jelly with the gold glitter just make think of fall and the lovely season.
Combustible Lemon is described as a mix of small gold squares, holographic gold hex, copper hex, scattered small red holographic hex, scattered small red/orange hex, and a heavy dose of gold microflakies all suspended in a fiery red jelly base. It has a good formula, slightly on the thick side, but manageable. It's opaque in two coats, but because I wanted it to look darker, like it is in the bottle, I decided to use a third coat. It does dry to a gritty finish though, so it requires top coat.
I used Orly Nail Defense as a base and Seche Vite Fast Dry Top Coat.
