Hi everyone!!
I have yet another polish from
Nory to share with you all. Essence Modern Romance is a beautiful peach creme with peach shimmer. The formula is not the greatest. It's so streaky, even after the second coat. I was so saddened by this because I think the polish is so pretty. I tried adding top coat, Beauty Secrets, to even it out, but it didn't work. Take a look:

Not cute right?! This was the first time I experienced such a poor formula from Essence.
I wasn't ready to give up on this polish yet! I decided to add some thinner to the polish because it was also a bit on the thick side. Then, when applying it, I let some polish drain off the brush so I could add thinner coats. It naturally had a lot of polish because of the wide brush.
Here's the result (three coats and no top coat):

It was soooo much better after adding the thinner and using thinner coats. The pinky is messed up because of me, not the formula. I'll definitely be trying this one again. I really love the color and the slight shimmer it has.
Do you have Modern Romance? How was the formula for you?
