This month's Polish Days theme is MAN-icure in honor of Movember, the initiative to bring awareness to causes related to mens' health. I decided to use Brucci Typhoon Lagoon because orchid is the color for testicular cancer. While this is not orchid, it's in the family right? ;0)
I got Typhoon Lagoon from the lovely Amanda. She sent it to me because it's similar to RBL Scrangie on my wish list. I wish I had them both to compare, sigh. But isn't that so sweet of her to send it to me? Thanks so much Amanda!!
Typhoon Lagoon is a purple/blue duochrome shimmer. It has a great formula, but it's sheer. It required three coats for full opacity. I used Sally Hansen Nail Hardener as a base, three coats of Typhoon Lagoon, and Seche Vite Fast Dry Top Coat.
I also added The Polish Well's Purple Rose of Virgo as an accent nail.
