When did your love for polish begin?
I have loved polish since I was a little girl. I remember taking birthday money to the beauty supply stores on Fordham Road in NYC to score as many beautiful colors and finishes as I could. I consider nail polish a must have accessory. Additionally, painting my nails helps me relax. I am a wife, mother and teacher so I appreciate my nail time (wine included! LOL!).
What made you decide to start your own polish line?
I love being creative and I started experimenting with other color cosmetics in the beginning of my journey. When I finally got my hands on nail polish base, I was so excited and started mixing nonstop! I opened my Etsy shop January 2012.
What's the inspiration behind the colors you create?
Many of my creations are inspired by my hometown, NYC. I was born and raised there. My memories of the people, architecture and the movement of the city are always in my heart. I now live in Florida, but I get homesick from time to time. I am also intrigued by fashion and art. Color in the creative form is just so inspiring.
How many polishes do you have in your stash?
I own about 200 polishes in all colors and textures. I make them so that definitely adds to my personal stash. However, I am still a nail polish buyer and I cannot pass up a brilliant nail polish find.
