Hi everyone!! Happy Sunday!
Today I have a polish to share with you that I received from the lovely Crystal over at
Crystal's Crazy Combos. If you haven't visited her blog, please do so ASAP. She always has great swatches of awesome polishes.
Anyway, Crystal sent me Elle's Spell in a mini swap we had a while back. I was so ecstatic to receive this polish. Not only because I think it's so beautiful, but it was my chance to try out Barielle. It was the first in my stash.
Elle's Spell is a deep red jelly with golden flakies. I've seen people mostly layer it, but I decided to try it on its own for the first time. Because it's more on the sheer side, I had to use three coats to get good coverage. There was still some VNL, but mostly in sunlight.
The formula is great. While the first coat was a bit patchy, it evened out by the second coat. It also dried fairly quickly. In these pictures, I used Essie All in One Base, three coats of Elle's Spell, and Seche Vite Fast Dry Top Coat.

I just love how the flakies cause this polish to glow. To prevent the VNL, I'll be layering it over a similar color. If you're a red lover and a flakie lover, you need to have Elle's Spell in your stash!
What do you guys think of Elle's Spell? Is this your cup of tea?
Gold + red = winning combination!
