Nubar - Angel

Hi everyone!!  Happy Saturday!  I hope you all have fun plans in store.  I don't have anything special going on.  Just the usual running around.

Today, I'm sharing Nubar's Angel with you all.  I purchased this polish from Harlow & Co. some time ago.  As described on Harlow & Co.'s site, Angel is a pale nude with a gold duochrome.  The description was fairly accurate, however, depending on the lighting, I got a hint of peach as well.

Angel was a dream to apply.  It went on evenly and I had no difficulties. I did have some VNL after two coats though.  I don't think additional coats would have changed that.

For these pictures, I used OPI Natural Nail Base Coat, two coats of Angel, and Seche Vite Fast Dry Top Coat.

I really like this color, but in certain lighting, I don't think it complimented my skin tone at all!!!  There were times when I loved it and times when I wanted to take it off.  But the formula is so great, I'll just have to deal and come up with some great ideas for this one.

Because I was exhausted the day I had this on, I didn't have energy to do a whole new mani.  So for a change, I decided to add E.L.F. Golden Goddess.  Using tape, I created a diagonal and added two coats of  Golden Goddess.  I then added a coat of Seche Vite.  Here's the result.

I thought these two looked really great together.  I do need to work on my taping though.  All of the nails weren't even :(.

What do you guys think of Angel?  How about when it's combined with Golden Goddess?

    This shade was recommended to me by a reputable eBay Nubar seller I deal with a lot. I was looking for any of their duo chromes I did not have that are still out there. I really like this one when I want a soft look, but still need an edge - the duochrome is not the more expected pink shift blue or purple. The gold lights it up!
