Nubar - Peacock Feathers

Hi everyone!!  Happy Twinsie Tuesday!

This Twinsie Tuesday's theme is a discontinued polish.  The only polish I knew for sure that was discontinued in my stash was Peacock Feathers.  I got this one from Crystal when she sent me Elle's Spell.

Peacock Feathers is a duochrome of royal purple and green.  The formula is a bit thin, but not runny.  The first two coats were a bit streaky, however, by the third coat, it was fully opaque. 

For the swatches below, I used three coats of Peacock Feathers with no base or top coat:

The only problem I had with this polish was that after only a short time wearing it, it stained my nails.  Thankfully, it wasn't too bad, but I know this definitely needs a good base coat.

I really think this is a pretty polish.  I kept moving my fingers and looking at the colors shift.  They are really nice shades of purple and green.  I do realize that this is a bit unfair because this polish is very difficult to get your hands on now.  Hopefully you won't want it too badly though :-/.
