Hi everyone!! Happy Saturday ;0).
D'Anna (
Not Another Nail Blog) and I did a mini swap a while back and she sent me OPI's Spark de Triomphe. This was one of the Grand Slam polishes released last year. It has a clear base with a mix of silver glitter and smaller gold glitter. I don't have anything else like it and it's very unique in my opinion. This polish is very dense. The pics below are with 2 coats, no top coat.

While I love this glitter, it's a little too much bling for me to wear it as a full manicure. The pics above are swatches, so you could see it on its own. I prefer to wear it as an accent nail.
In the pics below, I added an accent nail (1 coat) to my manicure with my most recent franken.

Believe it or not, removal wasn't difficult with this glitter. I was happy with that ;0). I'll probably used this for a jelly sandwich as well. I think it would look pretty.
What do you think of Spark de Triomphe? Do you have it in your stash?
Such a pretty glitter! I like it as an accent nail!

ReplyDeleteSome lights it is grey some lights it's blue. It looks really great with that accent nail. The colors pair well together.
Thanks D'Anna!! So glad you like it. Thanks for my gorgeous glitter ;0).
DeleteAs I started to read your post, I thought, "this would look best as an accent nail." And then, bam, what do you do? You use it as an accent nail. Great minds, anyone? ;)
ReplyDeleteLOL!! Great minds indeed ;0).
DeleteYour post actually made me crave a nice full glitter manicure. I do wear those but not at school, so I don't end up wearing them too often. I love it as an accent nail too!

ReplyDeleteIsn't it?
DeleteLovely! I love using glitter as an accent. This one looks beautiful!
ReplyDeleteSo sparkly!!
ReplyDeleteInteresting glitter, it does look very blingy! Love it on the accent nail!
ReplyDeleteThis was for me, one of the most unique and interesting glitters of last year. The black tiny flecks were new then and I went goofy for that look. Now we have seen more polishes and not just glitters with little black fleck in them. I totally dig that look. It's a surprise. I bought a back up bottle of this one because I thought it might go VHTF in a few years.
