Hi everyone!! It's Friday ;0). Who else is happy about that?
Today, I have Orly Oui to share with you. I picked this baby up from Sally's about a month ago because I was so attracted to the shimmer in it. A polish from their 2011 Holiday Soiree collection, Oui is a purple jam packed with gold shimmer. I don't have anything like it and I love it!
For these pictures, I used OPI Natural Nail Base Coat, two coats of Oui, and Seche Vite Fast Dry Top Coat.

You may have noticed that depending on the lighting, the polish takes on a totally different look. I loved them all though and couldn't stop looking at my nails.
The formula for Oui was excellent!! It went on smoothly and evenly and it was fully opaque in one coat. I thought it would have a gritty texture because of all the shimmer in it, but it was completely smooth. It also dried very quickly, which was an added bonus.
What do you guys think of this one? Do you have Oui or anything from the Holiday Soiree collection? |

ReplyDeleteIt's always interesting to see other people's picks from different collections. I went with Androgynie and Au Champagne from this one. Oui is not really my style, but it does look amazing on you!
ReplyDeleteI am sorry now that I did not pick this one up. I thought it was going to be another in that same group as Zoya Faye, a couple from OPI with the pink/purple/gold foil thing going on, and one I had from the Orly Mineral collection that also was the pink/purple/gold foil thing. Now that I keep seeing swatches of it, I see that the purple is what really comes up in this one with tons of sparkle. I did get Androgynie, Au Champagne and Ma Cheri (the red one). Au Champagne is really a major hit for me. Totally different than anything I have - a white but a cream white. Still lamenting that I don't have this one - Oui - however. Maybe it's still kicking around on some of the etailers. I need to look. Thanks for reminding me!
