Hi everyone!! Happy Pink Wednesday ;0).
Today I have a polish that Amanda from
Fashion Footing surprised me with. It was on my wish list and she sent it to me ;0). Thanks Amanda!!
Fuschia Power is from Sally Hansen's Xtreme Wear line. It's a beautiful, bright fuschia creme. While the formula was a bit thick, it was manageable. It was a bit streaky on the first coat, but evened out with the second coat and was fully opaque.
In these pictures, I used OPI Natural Nail base coat, 2 coats of Fuschia Power, and Seche Vite Fast Dry Top Coat.

I then decided to add some polka dots to this mani. I remember seeing how well pink and black went together in
this post by Jessica (LuvMyLacquer) and decided to try black polka dots. I used Nicka K Noir, which is just a simple black creme. I then added
Etude House Extreme Jewel to some of the dots. Here's the result:

I used my handy dandy bobby pin to do the dots. The silver didn't always go perfectly into the middle of the black, but I still like the way it came out.
Also, you'll notice on my thumb a few thin swirly black lines. The polish started get a bit stringy as I used it to create the dots. I guess it was because of the air hitting it. It wasn't too much though, so I decided to leave it. I later read in a post on The Polish Well
here that if a polish gets too stringy, adding a bit of thinner helps. So I'll be doing that in the future.
