Today I have another Orly polish to share with you that is full of flaky goodness. Orly Fowl Play is from the Birds of a Feather collection released in 2011. I'd seen tons of pictures of it online, but couldn't find it anywhere, so I was very excited when I finally found it (I can't even remember where at this point, smh).
Fowl Play is a purple jelly base with orange and blue flakies and microshimmer. the formula was really good and it applied really well. Here I used Sally Hansen Triple Strong as a base, three coats of Fowl Play and Seche Vite Fast Dry Top Coat.

I must share my drama with this polish though. When I first opened the bottle I realized that the brush had broken off from the stem of the cap.
I automatically panicked and thought I couldn't use it, but after sharing the picture on Instagram, I got a suggestion to use a brush from another polish (I don't know why I didn't think of that myself). Since my Nail Defense was finished, I decided to use that brush. I have to say I was disappointed when I reached out to Orly on facebook and got no response. Thankfully I was able to use the polish anyway.
What do you guys think of Fowl Play? Are you a flaky lover? Has a brush ever fallen off of your polish cap?
