Twinsie Tuesday - Polish Roulette

Hi everyone!!

This week, our Twinsie Tuesday challenge was Polish Roulette. We had to randomly choose two polishes from our stash and try to make them work together. I thought this was a fun idea, but I was nervous at the same time because I had no idea what my choices would look like. So, with my eyes closed, I chose two polishes from my wall rack. One with my left and one with my right. Here's what I chose:

At first, I thought to myself, "what am I going to do with these two?" But then I had TOO many ideas: polka dots? (no, I've been doing that a lot lately), watermarbling? (hmmm... Haven't done that in a while, but nope, too lazy), stripes?. I finally decided on a tape mani. Here's what I came up with.

I alternated the base color on each nail, then taped off the nail once it was dry and added the second coat. To be honest, I only used tape when I added the second color on each nail. I got tired of waiting to add the third layer and decided to free hand it. It's not perfect, but it ended up looking nice. The colors go really well together.
