Show Some Love Saturday

Hi fellow nail polish lovers!!

For this week's Show Some Love Saturday, I decided to channel my inner Marta!  For those who aren't familiar with that name, Marta is the writer of the blog Chit Chat Nails.  I've followed her for over a year now and I love her mish mosh manicures.  She rarely has a plain manicure.  There is always something extra going on and it's always awesome.  Here's what I came up with:

For this manicure, I used the following polishes:
Index and middle fingers: Cult Nails Spontaneous
Ring finger: Sally Hansen No Hard Feelings as a base and Etude House WH020 for the polka dots
Pinky: Etude House WH020 (two coats)
Thumb: Sally Hansen No Hard Feelings with WH020 free handed over part of the nail (see below)

I used Sally Hansen Triple Strong as a base and Seche Vite Fast Dry Top Coat on all nails.

I used a necklace in this picture to imitate Marta's use of jewelry in some of her nail pics.  Hers looks way better though ;0)

I have to admit that though I've been playing around with nail art a lot more lately, this mani took a lot of getting used to.  I'm used to all my nails looking the same or one or two accent nails.  I always appreciate Marta's manis, but this was way out of my comfort zone.  It was a super fun look at though, so I'm really glad I tried it.  If you guys have not visited Marta's blog yet, you MUST.  You will love her gorgeous manicures.
