Catherine Arley - 800

Hi everyone!!

Today I have a polish that was on my wish list for a while and I finally found it on eBay, about a month ago.  Catherine Arley is a new, to me, brand, but I've seen some really pretty holos from them on other blogs, so I really wanted to try it out.

This brand doesn't have names, but numbers.  800 is a beautiful coral holo that applies like butter.  It was slightly runny, so there was a bit of pooling at the cuticles, but it was very easy to clean up.  800 required two coats for full opacity, because there was the slightest bit of VNL with one coat.  It also dried quickly.

For this manicure, I used Growth Spurt as a base, two coats of 800, and Seche Vite Fast Dry Top Coat.

I really like this polish a lot!  It actually reminds me of a more orange version of DS Reserve.  While the holo isn't very strong, it's still beautiful.

I decided to do a gradient with OPI DS Reflection.  I used the brush on my thumb and index finger because I was becoming impatient with the sponge.  I then realized I needed to be patient and sponged the other nails.  I definitely prefer the sponged look.  Very subtle, but pretty.

I purchased 800 for $5.10 from this seller.  I received the polish quickly and had no issues.  This was my one and only purchase from her though.

What do you think of 800?  Do you have any Catherine Arley polishes?
